Matrix HR is currently seeking two (2) experienced Journeyman Carpenters for a short-term construction project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This opportunity is ideal for skilledcarpenters with strong experience in exterior framing and stair construction.

Project Overview:
The project involves exterior construction work on a multi-storey building, specificallyfocused on the installation and framing of exterior fire escape stairs and related structures.

Duties:

Perform stair framing and installation work.
Construct landings, decking, and exterior framing components.
Work safely at heights and follow all site safety protocols..
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.

Required Qualifications:

Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Proven experience with stair framing, exterior framing, and decking.
Valid Fall Arrest certification.
Valid Aeriel Work Platform.
Ability to complete mandatory site orientation prior to starting.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
