Matrix HR is currently seeking two (2) experienced Journeyman Carpenters for a short-term construction project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This opportunity is ideal for skilledcarpenters with strong experience in exterior framing and stair construction.

Project Overview:
The project involves exterior construction work on a multi-storey building, specificallyfocused on the installation and framing of exterior fire escape stairs and related structures.

Duties:
  • Perform stair framing and installation work.
  • Construct landings, decking, and exterior framing components.
  • Work safely at heights and follow all site safety protocols..
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.

Required Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Proven experience with stair framing, exterior framing, and decking.
  • Valid Fall Arrest certification.
  • Valid Aeriel Work Platform.
  • Ability to complete mandatory site orientation prior to starting.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Please Note: We are primarily seeking Candidates that are Local to Winnipeg.
